Privacy matters here.

We collect the information you choose to provide when you use Daily Dine. This can include your account details, recipes, meal plans, notes, cookbook entries, and messages you send through our contact form.

We may also receive limited technical information automatically, such as device or browser details, log data, and basic usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the app.

We use information to run the app, save your content, personalize your experience, respond to support requests, maintain security, and improve features over time.

Payment processing is handled by Apple for in-app purchases and by Stripe for eligible web purchases. We receive subscription status and transaction identifiers needed to provide paid features, but we do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only with service providers that help us operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, email, or payment providers, and only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the service.

If you choose an AI recipe import, Daily Dine sends the URL, text, photo, or PDF you selected, along with recipe content retrieved from that source when applicable, to OpenAI to extract ingredients and steps. The import screen asks for your permission before sending it. You can create a recipe manually instead.

A selected file or source page may contain personal information. Remove private details before importing, review the generated recipe for accuracy, and confirm that you have the rights needed before publishing imported content. OpenAI processes the material as a service provider under its own data practices.

If you choose to publish recipes, public recipe notes, or meal plans using public or shareable links, that content may be visible to other people. Please avoid posting private or sensitive information in shared content.

When you report a public note or block an account, we store the report or block relationship so we can moderate content and hide content from that account. Reports may include the reason and optional details you provide.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you request deletion, we will remove or anonymize information when reasonably possible, subject to any legal or operational retention needs.

You can permanently delete your account and associated Daily Dine data from Profile, then Account, inside the app. You can also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

Deleting your Daily Dine account cancels an active Stripe subscription. Apple subscriptions must be managed through your Apple Account, and deleting the app account does not automatically cancel billing through Apple.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

Daily Dine is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the last updated date above.
