1 pound rhubarb, cut into 1/4 inch slices

1 cup white sugar

1 3 ounce package strawberry flavored Jell-O® mix

1 18.25 ounce package yellow cake mix

1 cup water

0.25 cup margarine, melted

Instructions

Step 1
Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 2
Spread rhubarb evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Step 3
Sprinkle sugar over rhubarb, followed by gelatin mix, and finally cake mix. Pour water and melted butter over the top. Do not stir.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until rhubarb is tender, about 45 minutes.
