Tonkatsu is a popular Japanese dish made of breaded and deep-fried pork cutlets. It’s crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and usually served with shredded cabbage and a sweet-savory tonkatsu sauce.

Dredge in flour, dip in beaten egg, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Heat oil to 170–180°C (340–355°F). Fry each side for 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.
Drain excess oil, slice the pork, and serve with shredded cabbage and tonkatsu sauce.
