I was really delighted with the results of this recipe. I made it this way for the first time tonight and I wanted to share it with you. I don’t have the step-by-step photos but next time I make it I’ll take the photos and update the recipe. I hope you enjoy this. It is a really easy, fun recipe and much better than takeout.
View original recipe on cookpad.comCombine chicken, bouillon, soy sauce, and water. Marinate for 30 minutes at least.
Mix flour, cornstarch, white pepper, baking soda for dredging the chicken. Coat marinated chicken in this flour mixture. Deep-fry until golden and set aside.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, ketchup, rice vinegar, and honey for the sauce.
Heat oil in a wok. Sauté garlic for 1 minute on medium heat.
Add sauce mixture and cook for 1 minute. Stir in cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce if needed.
Add fried chicken and toss to coat evenly.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and garnish with green onions.
