These soft batch chocolate chip cookies are reminiscent of the deliciously soft store bought cookies but have so much more flavor!
View original recipe on cookpad.comPreheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and maple syrup until smooth.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a thick dough forms.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop large dough balls (about 2 tablespoons each) onto the baking sheet.
Chill the tray in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are soft.
Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy!
