This recipe is great for an easy side dish at home but also would be excellent for camping as well. Especially if you are a cheese potato lover like we are! π I saw this recipe on "josh and momma's" cooking channel on youtube and wanted to try it for myself. Nothing beats a homemade casserole that took all day. But it was nice to have something filling for the kids. That was quick and easy with minimal dishes to wash afterwards! ππ We are definitely going to try different variations of this recipe next time that we go camping! ππππ #cheesepotatoes #cheesepotatocasserole #cheesepotatorecipe #recipesinthecan #campingtricks #joshandmomma

Add your seasoning, followed by a handful of real bacon bits directly into each can.
Pour whipping cream directly into the potato cans until the potatoes are mostly submerged (about 2β3 tablespoons per can, depending on size).
Top with cheese: Cover the top of the cans generously with your shredded cheese.
Preheat your oven to 350Β° F. Place the open, upright cans directly onto a baking sheet and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and golden.
