Melt the butter, then add to a bowl with the brown and white sugar

In a separate bowl, add the flour, salt, and baking soda

Add the butter mixture to the bowl, with the egg and vanilla essence

Fold in the chocolate chips

Very lightly grease the bottom of a pan (~30cms in diameter) and apply the first layer of cookie dough

Chop up the bar of chocolate and add it on top

Cover with the second layer of dough

Cover the pan with a lid and leave it on the induction stove with a power of 350 (this one says 160°C)

Cook for 20-23 minutes then let rest for another 5-10 minutes. Cut up and serve
