Let sit for 15 minutes to release the juices and allow the flavors to blend
Prepare the Batter 1. In a large bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, melted butter, and oil until smooth.
Add milk, eggs, and vanilla extract — mix until combined.
In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a smooth batter forms.
Assemble the Cake 1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease your loaf pan or line it with parchment paper. 3. Pour half of the batter into the pan and spread evenly.
Scatter 2/3 of the apple mixture (with a little juice) over the batter.
Add the remaining batter on top, spread gently to cover. Top with the remaining apples and drizzle a bit of the juice over them.
Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the apples and batter for a marbled effect
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If the top browns too quickly, cover lightly with foil halfway through.
Cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Optional: Brush with warm honey or melted butter for a glossy finish.
✨ Tip: Best served slightly warm with tea or coffee. You can also store it covered at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week
