Homemade Starbucks Oat and Fudge Bars recipe. Just looking on line for this one.
View original recipe on cookpad.comPreheat the oven to 350˚F. Line a 9×13 pan with aluminum foil that covers the bottom and reaches up the sides.
In a large bowl, cream together both sugars (1 cup of each), 1 cup butter and 2 eggs.
In a separate bowl mix together the flours (1.5 cup white flour and 1/2 cup whole wheat), 1tsp of baking soda and the 3 cups of oats. Next slowly mix the flour mixture to the sugar mixture until fully incorporated.
Spread 3/4 of this mixture into the prepared pan.
In a medium saucepan, melt the fudge ingredients on medium heat, mixing until smooth.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the dough in the pan, then blob the remaining oat mixture on top.
Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for at least 30 minutes then refrigerate. Cutting into bars the next day.
Recipe Notes Do not try to cut into the bars after they are out of the oven! That will result in a sticky mess.
