These Gluten-Free Buttermilk Waffles are light, fluffy, and crisp on the outside with a tender interior. Made with gluten-free flour and rich buttermilk, they have a deliciously tangy flavor and a perfect texture that rivals traditional waffles.

In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and sea salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla until incorporated. Then add the dry ingredients in, and mix until just combined (note: the batter will look thick and slightly lumpy).
Serve immediately and top with butter, maple syrup, fresh fruit or a combination of all three.
Pour about 3/4 cup of batter into your prepared waffle maker and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions (note: this is for a 7” waffle). Repeat until all the batter is complete, lightly spraying with more non-stick spray as needed.
