1 cup buttermilk

1 cup mayonnaise

1 fresh tomatillo, husk removed, or more to taste

0.5 lime, juiced

0.5 jalapeno pepper, stemmed and seeded, or more to taste

1 1 ounce package dry ranch dressing mix (such as Hidden Valley Ranch®)

1 clove garlic, peeled
