Ingredients

1 (.13 ounce) envelope unsweetened grape soft drink mix

1 (.13 ounce) envelope unsweetened orange soft drink mix

2 cups white sugar

3 quarts cold water

1 liter ginger ale

Instructions

Step 1
Stir grape soft drink mix, orange soft drink mix, sugar, and water together until sugar is dissolved. Stir in chilled ginger ale just before serving.
Step 2
For an optional frozen hand, fill a food-safe disposable glove with water, secure with a rubber band, and freeze until solid. Dip the frozen hand briefly in warm water, remove and discard the glove, and float the frozen hand in the punch bowl for a spooky effect.
